17-Acre JWPCP Bixby Marshland Restoration

A unique marsh habitat located in an urban setting, consisting of open water, wetlands, riparian, uplands and meadowlands. In addition, the marsh now boasts educational and viewing areas with trails, informative signs, shade structures, benches, bridge overlook, garden and parking lot. In 2009, there were 105 different plants, 64 species of birds, a fish, two mammals, a frog and two reptiles. Cost: $2.5 Million
