Geotechnical and geological services for a nearly 5-acre site to include seven one- to two-story office/commercial structures, surface vehicle parking, retaining wall and landscaping. Work included updated geotechnical recommendations for design and construction, geotechnical responses to Los Angeles County reviews, review of rough and fine grading plans, surface and subsurface drainage conditions, and anticipated conditions for shopping center and sewer design and construction. Construction observation and testing included testing for 5-acre grading project, all special inspection services for building construction including concrete, steel rebar, welding, masonry, epoxy and other specialties.
