Evaluated general subsurface soil conditions at an industrial site, including assessment of the site-specific liquefaction potential, earthquake-induced reconsolidation settlements & lateral spreads, and provided a geotechnical report with recommendations for the design and construction of the proposed project, including a new shredder mill, including shredder enclosure, mill house and conveyer; new two-story office building, and storm water storage tanks. H&A provided geotechnical construction observation and materials testing (concrete, steel and welding), and oversaw driving of more than 150 piles, including 24-inch-octagonal and 16-inch-square prestressed precast concrete piles, as well as dynamic monitoring CAPWAP analysis.
